This project proposes a metropolitan network of walkable, safe, and shaded pedestrian corridors connecting schools, hospitals, neighborhood centers, and public spaces across the Aguascalientes metropolitan area.
Conceived as a scalable and replicable public-space strategy, the proposal reframes walking as critical urban infrastructure, prioritizing safety, accessibility, and everyday mobility for the most vulnerable users.
The project integrates urban design, mobility planning, and public health objectives, offering measurable targets for reducing traffic fatalities, increasing walking trips, and strengthening local economies.
